Fall 2021 Update We continue to serve communion wine in the individual cups rather than the common cup, but all other coronavirus measures have been lifted. We no longer have a designated social distancing seating section. We continue to ask those exhibiting the symptoms of COVID-19, caring for a loved one who has tested positive or who have tested positive to worship online rather than in person. Outdoor Worship Continues As we move into fall, we will gather outside–weather permitting–through the end of the month. It may be chilly, so just pretend you’re attending a Packers home game and bundle up to enjoy the fellowship of the church. No RSVP Required Since our attendance at both services is stable, we will no longer require RSVPs for our Sunday services. Parishioner Planning for our Outdoor Services We have missed meeting together and seeing each other face to face. Paul tells the Hebrews to not neglect meeting together so that we can encourage each other (Hebrews 10:25). We have developed two options for worship that will meet your comfort level for meeting face to face. We will have two worship services on the 5th. Light of Christ is pleased to announce two outdoor services for July 5, 2020, to be held at the Olsen home in Kenosha. Since best practices continue to evolve and we have people at higher and lower risk within our congregation, we are providing 2 services: one for those at higher risk wishing or who wish to take more precautions and one for those at lower risk with less precautions.
